Twin is a wearable robotic device born of a collaboration between INAIL Prosthesis Center of Budrio and the Italian Institute of Technology in Genoa. It allows people with complete and partial spinal injuries to walk again. Its technology is able to quantify the rehabilitation progress and define the level of assistance in each moment. Twin is designed as a customizable modular platform, simple to dress and easy to carry inside a normal travel trolley. The soft braces are made of technical materials derived from motorcycle clothing and are designed to convey a human-like look and feel.
