Jakson is a family of leather containers inspired by the paper folding techniques developed by Paul Jakson. Breaking with the technique of origami, which would like an extended fold from one side of the sheet to the other, the leather is folded with a simple gesture to create shapes and curves of a different nature: transitions from angular to soft and vice versa.
The elegance and materiality of the shapes emerges thanks to unexpected light and shadow effects, which vary depending on where the light comes from. The details are characterised by the raw stitching that is the hallmark of Oscar Maschera.
